Council of Alternative System of Medicines is a legally constituted and internationally accredited
India's premier and leading educational organization established under purview of Article 14, 19(1) g and
21 of the constitution of India and registered under society registration Act. Established in year 2003 to provide continuing medical education and training to
Doctor's, paramedics, Nurses, Health worker and other health care professionals to equip them with
skill, knowledge and ability to maintain public health and promote awareness of primary and preventive
health & wellness among common people.
With the emerging need of Skill development, Council of Alternative System of Medicines aims to
train youth from rural and urban India in order to achieve the country's visio of “Skill India” and “Health
for all”. We have been conducting high standard of academic programs through
Regular/correspondence/distance education for the last 15 years in medical, paramedical, community
medical service, Alternative system of medicines, Naturopathy & Yoga, Electro Homoeopathy including
awarding Ayurveda, Homoeopathy and Unani diploma and certificate also.
Council of Alternative System of Medicines is autonomous council it's run by Iatros Medical
Society, registered under society registration Act. 1973/44 of Government of Madhya Pradesh,(Regd.
No. IND/7051/2003) based on Central Govt. Act. 1860, Scientific & Literary Institution Act. 1854. For the
promotion, development & research of alternative system of medicines and paramedical science, Impart
of medical education also. And is authorized to run various educational and paramedical courses.
Council of Alternative System of Medicines offers a high standard academic programs through
regular/correspondence / distance learning in various medical/paramedical/ educational courses
leading to the award of diploma, bachelor and post graduate certificates etc.

21 of 1854&17-18 vict. C 112 S. 20 et seq and Indian registration act. 1908. Over head office to supervise
the affiliated institutions , colleges on all india basis. The council do not have any concern with any other
council(govt.& non govt.) All diploma, certificates are awarded autonomously by the council.
For effective health services now there is need that entire program should be at national level to
be reviewed to move with new medical developments. The responsibilities of community in health have
more importance which should have trained health specialist along with worker and technologists and
should be well equipped to give specified remedies for day to day illness. Has been establish to workers
may get rural atmosphere which may help them to work in rural and urban areas. So the council is
promoting medical and paramedical health education in the country.
